The Maryland State Police Waterloo Barrack serves Howard County that provides traffic safety and highway patrol, criminal enforcement, and community services, including a 24/7 Toys for Tots drop-off location. 

Built between 1938 and 1939, the Waterloo Barrack is one of the last remaining original structures from that era designed to handle the rise of high-volume traffic on Maryland state highways.
