The Office of Media Communications is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to media and concerned citizens regarding public safety incidents and issues involving the Maryland State Police.  

Office of Media Communications personnel can be reached in the office at 410-653-4236 or via email at [email protected].  For emergency needs after business hours, reporters can contact the Headquarters duty officer at 410-653-4200 and request a spokesperson be contacted.

All persons charged with criminal or traffic offenses are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
