Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack

The Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack serves Worcester County and Ocean City region. The Berlin Barrack acts as the state police backbone for the Ocean City region when local departments are saturated during peak tourism periods.

In 2025, the barrack was fully reconstructed into a state-of-the-art facility and now serves as a high-tech law enforcement and forensics hub for the Eastern Shore. The expanded Forensic Sciences Laboratory provides advanced services like crime scene analysis, toxicology, and latent print investigation for the Eastern Shore.

The site includes a 4,450-square-foot garage, a secure sally port, and enhanced training classrooms.
