Office of Promotional Testing

The Office of Promotional Testing manages the process used to promote sworn personnel from Corporal through Captain. Each promotion includes a written exam, a structured resume review, and an oral interview.

The office also supports other agencies by providing trained assessors when requested. In addition, it conducts job task analyses for each rank to keep task statements and required knowledge, skills, and abilities current and aligned with the promotional process.
