The Criminal Investigative Bureau (CIB) investigates violent crime, drug activity, and other criminal violations across the state. It provides investigative support for the Department and works closely with other law enforcement agencies.

CIB includes the Criminal Enforcement Division (CED), Licensing Division (LD), and Forensic Sciences Division (FSD).
