Child Recovery Unit

The Child Recovery Unit supports investigations for the Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons (MCMUP) and manages the state’s AMBER and Silver Alert programs. Its primary focus is investigating human trafficking and child exploitation.

The unit is also part of the FBI’s Maryland Child Exploitation Task Force, working with multiple law enforcement agencies to find missing and abducted children and address child trafficking cases.
